So, what is an expert?What does an expert look like in your industry? (These are great conversation starters!) Some client’s tell us “I need to be featured on the CBS Evening News,” while others say “I need these 1,000 people to know I exist and think I’m the best.”

Ultimately, “expert” its a very personal and custom definition. To us, it means taking a variety of actions to create the most ideal environment for you to reach your specific goals. This could include branding, positioning, public relations, message development or any combination of tactics.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind while thinking about what an expert means to you:

Tip 1:You don’t have to BE famous to gain visibility as an expert. The reality is that on paper, most people look the same, somewhat unremarkable. It’s how you bring it all together that gives you a leg up. Can people relate to your message? Do they understand what you do? Is your message impactful? The answer must be YES! Your image, message, strategy, and communication makes the difference.

Tip 2:You don’t have to BECOME famous to become an expert and increase revenue. Not everyone will become a household name and that’s ok. The important part is making sure that your ideal customer knows you exist, and thinks you are better and more likeable than all the rest.
